Now as a pro mechanic I am afforded some benefits to allow me the skills to upgrade my personal bike.

In the first few days of its life at my shop I upgraded all of the SRAM Force components to Red and swapped the cranks to a SRAM SRM power meter. The wheels are an upgrade as well, removing the DT Swiss wheels and going to Mavic Cosmic Carbon Ultimates. This shaved around 3lbs off of the stock bike. But as in life you are never really satisfied with things and you always have to tinker. Now this gets me to my secret project.

What's Next?

After a lengthy cross season one ponders ones future. I am in that state at the moment.

After a very successful 2 seasons with Team Rapha-FOCUS, 3 years with Focus Bikes USA as the one who did everything, I am at another crossroads. What's next?

Who knows. The course at hand is to be with my family, get caught up on my "honey-do's" and ride my bikes a lot more. Maybe I will take up sewing or something other then what I have been doing for the last decade.

All I know is that the future is bright and I am wearing shades thanks to Mr. Blick!

Later Skaters. Catch you all on the flip side.

Cross season in my house is at an end. Whew what a run. 30 races, 18k miles driven and 5 countries visited. What do we have to show for it, 2 national champions, multiple podiums and a group of riders and staff that are totally smoked.

Here are some images from this year. Thanks to Focus Bikes, Rapha, Easton & Giro, SRAM, Feedback Sports, Lemond Fitness, Crank Brothers, Contour and fi:zi;k. Withour you help and support this year would have not been possible.

Enjoy the pics.

He is coming off a dissappointing night a few days ago when he was attempting to bunny hop the barriers and pre-released from his pedal and jacked the landing. In life we always want a "do-over" and Super Z got one today and made it count.

Well done my brother if you are reading this. I will be busting ass over the next 2 weeks to help you earn your Stars and Bars.
