Quiznos Pro - aka Tour of CO

Glad to see the power of Lance has come to Colorado. I heard a story today that went something like, Ridder and Vaughters chatted about bringing a race to CO a few years ago. Funny, where was JV today? He should have been standing on that podium or at least nearby showing support for the next big thing to hit Colorado since Lance doing Leadville.

I personally think that all of the Colorado based cycling companies should put up or shut up and support this race so that it does not become a flash in the pan like Tour of Georgia and Tour of Missouri. The issues with those states were that the government were the ones that spearheaded the events and when the sponsorships dried up, the race did too. I hope that Quiznos is in for the long haul like AEG and Amgen. That is the sole reason that the Tour of California has continued to survive year after year. 

So come on Colorado, eat some fricken Quiznos and make this race be a race to remember!
