Jelly Belly Pro Cycling Team Selects FOCUS Bicycles For 2010

Partnership with America’s premium professional cycling team demonstrates FOCUS’ commitment to the
American market.

The Jelly Belly Pro Cycling Team has announced the selection of FOCUS Bicycles as the team’s official frame supplier for the 2010 season. The Jelly Belly team will be riding FOCUS Izalco road and Izalco Chrono chassis with custom Jelly Belly team graphics. “We are extremely pleased to be chosen by the Jelly Belly Team,” said FOCUS Bicycles USA CEO Scott Rittschof. “Jelly Belly has been the team’s title sponsor longer than any other title sponsor involved in American cycling. The Izalco road frame that Jelly Belly will campaign is the same model raced by the FOCUS-sponsored Milram UCI Pro Tour team. The Izalco’s sub-1000-gram chassis has been created with FOCUS’ Liquid Shape Force Design, which endows the frame with a smooth shape and supple ride. The 2010 Izalco also features a tapered Conical Seat Tube for enhanced pedaling efficiency; distinctive Elbowed Comfort rear seat stays for maximum vertical compliance and full carbon rear dropouts. The Izalco’s handling is further improved thanks to a 10-percent stiffness increase in the fork and headtube which thanks to a tapered carbon steerer tube and 11/8” top and 11/4” bottom bearing combination.
